Participatory and community‐based research, Indigenous geographies, and the spaces of friendship: A critical engagement

摘要: Geographic engagement with Indigenous peoples remains inextricably linked to colonialism. Consequently, studying geographies is fraught ethical and political dilemmas. Participatory community-based research methods have recently been offered as one solution address concerns about the politics of gathering, framing, producing, disseminating, controlling knowledge peoples. In this article, we critically engage emergence participatory “best practice” for undertaking into geographies.
