摘要: The Ningxia-Inner Mongolia reaches of the Yellow River suffer from bank erosion problems; in order to identify dynamics, Real Time Kinematic Global Positioning System (RTK GPS) was applied monitor morphology at three sites: Taole Cropland (TC), Maobula Shrubland (MS), and (MC). measured data were analyzed using Geographical Information (GIS) quantify volume amount erosion. To verify feasibility other means quantifying including remote sensing image interpretation Bank-Stability Toe-Erosion Model (BSTEM) simulation, their results compared with directly monitored by RTK GPS. Results show that moduli TC, MS, MC sites are 12,762, 6681 44,142 t km−1 a−1 respectively based on GPS measurements 2011 2014, varying between flood non-flood seasons among different years. quantified BSTEM simulation agreed well measurement. main factors influence upper include land use area, height, curvature. More rational along stabilization river required for this area. This study shows monitoring is reliable useful research, which has not yet been fully exploited. There potential applying model determine large rivers, while they should be combined supported field investigated data.
