摘要: SummaryBackground Limited research has examined the fat-but-fit paradigm among coronary artery disease patients. Objectives The objective of this study was to evaluate as it relates mortality risk patients with disease. Methods A total 766 (Mage = 65.4 years) were evaluated. Physical activity assessed via self-report, weight status determined from measured body mass index. Six mutually exclusive groups evaluated, including (i) Normal Weight and Inactive (referent), (ii) Overweight Inactive, (iii) Obese (iv) Active, (v) Active (vi) Active. Results A 301 died over follow-up period, duration unweighted median period being 86 months (IQR: 62–113). The Cox proportional hazard results, after adjusting for age, gender, race-ethnicity, follows: Group 2: HRadjusted 0.95, 95% CI: 0.57–1.60, p 0.87; 3: 0.91, 0.57–1.44, 0.68; 4: 0.35, 0.14–0.86, 0.02; 5: 0.51, 0.28–0.93, 6: 0.43, 0.21–0.85, 0.01. Conclusion These findings provide support applied CAD patients. Ultimately, these underscore importance promoting physical all
