Perceptions of an innovative climate: examining the role of divisional affiliation, work group interaction, and leader/subordinate exchange

摘要: Results from a cross-sectional field study with 198 members of an international chemical company suggest that divisional affiliation, work group interactions (WGX), and the quality exchange between leader subordinate (LMX) significantly predict employee perceptions climate factors believed to foster innovative activities. Tests also indicate LMX remains significant predictor five six variables measured, even after controlling for affiliation exchanges (WGX). Further, analyses reveal interaction WGX accounts unique variance on all studied in this investigation. are discussed terms their implications managerial practice future research. >
