摘要: Nature has generously offered life-saving therapies to mankind by providing evolutionarily optimized drug-like entities in the form of natural products. These splendid gifts nature have served as most suitable candidates for anti-cancer drug discovery due their pleiotropic activity on target molecules. This review aims provide an update sources and bioactivities such from nature, salvianolic acid A & B, which are major bioactive constituents a traditional Chinses medicinal herb, Salvia miltiorrhiza. Salvianolic B been reported owe anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory cardioprotective activities. Currently acids emerged potent fight cancer progression prompting apoptosis, halting cell cycle adjourning metastasis targeting multiple deregulated signaling networks cancer. Moreover, display potency towards sensitizing cells chemo-drugs. The purposes that supply novel opportunity but further experimentation is mandatory embellish knowledge pharmacological usage access toxicological limits order establish these compounds potential multitarget future drugs.
