摘要: Abstract Anisomeles indica (L.) Kuntze (Labiatae), is a traditional anti-inflammatory herb used in Taiwan. The aqueous and methanolic extracts of whole plants, leaves, flowers stems; chloroform n-butanol fractions methanol extract, from A. were investigated for their activity on murine peritoneal macrophages. In addition, the tumor cells proliferation inhibition activities these also evaluated against panel cell lines such as Colon 205, PC 3, HepG2 MCF 7. Treatment with did not reduce viability at any dose used. However, all significantly inhibited enhanced production NO radicals, pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-12) induced by LPS/IFN-γ dose-dependent manner. Furthermore, leaves dose-dependently arrest mitogen-stimulated spleen G0/G1 stage, addition to 7 3 94, 82; 98, 71; 82, 98%, respectively, 200 μg/mL concentration. This first report growth inhibitory activities, inflammatory mediator production, human lines, colon, prostate, hepatoma breast proliferation.
