摘要: Silicone oil appears to be a useful adjunct in retinal reattachment surgery for eyes with severe proliferative vitreoretinopathy (PVR) (C3-D3).1–3 It is well known, however, that complications from silicone can develop. Gonvers has suggested removal of approximately 3 months after its placement mitigates these complications.1
