A novel probe of bubble size statistics and time scales of the epoch of reionization using the contour Minkowski Tensor

摘要: We employ the rank-2 {\em contour} Minkowski Tensor in two dimensions to probe length and time scales of ionized bubbles during epoch reionization. demonstrate that eigenvalues this tensor provide excellent probes distribution sizes bubbles, from it characteristic bubble sizes, at different redshifts. show are not circular, hence spherical three dimensions, as is often assumed for simplified analytic arguments. quantify their shape anisotropy by using ratio eigenvalues. The parameter provides epochs when mergers begin end. Our method will be very useful reconstruct reionization history data brightness temperature field.
