摘要: SUMMARY Tumor cells from a spontaneously arising canine astrocytoma were isolated and cloned. Three clonally derived cell lines (DL3580 clone I, DL3580 2, 3) developed found to express glial fibril]my acidic protein (GFAP) as well epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR/c-erbB1). The tumorigenic subcutaneous xenografts or intracranial implants in athymic mice, both. Both the monolayer xenograft tumor 2 aneuploid, with modal number of 84 chromosomes per metaphase; clones 1 3 also aneuploid numbers 82 75/79, respectively. histology both initial occurring dog athymie mice demonstrated features diffuse infiltration into normal brain. These newly glioma are karyotypically stable for yr culture carry same marker parental lines. may serve models investigating mechanisms invasion Additionally, clonal divergent properties assist studies molecular basis progression heterogeneity.
