摘要: Abstract The dewetting behavior of vacuum deposited CsI films on LiF (1 0 0) oriented substrate was observed. Rupture initially continuous solid occurs in a duration months–minutes, depending film thickness. Finally, spherical particles are formed the substrate. possess pronounced orientation 〈1 1 0〉 direction normal to surface. This effect has been attributed difference between surface energy values and substrate, interface according Young’s equation. corresponding have calculated confirmed nature observed effect.
