摘要: Nutrition and nutritional status can influence the development, maintenance optimal functioning of immune system. Oryzanol (OZ), a commercially important bioactive phytochemical component rice bran oil, has generated global interest on account its several beneficial physiological effects human health. The aim present investigation was to examine effect OZ, isolated from crude oil (cRBO), regulation response in experimental animal models. OZ identified with respect standard by melting point determination, thin-layer chromatography (TLC), UV-visible spectrophotometry high-performance liquid (HPLC). Cellular immunity rats assessed carbon clearance assay, delayed-type hypersensitivity (DTH) cyclophosphamide-induced myelosuppression, whereas humoral analysed haemagglutinating antibody (HA) titre assay. (25, 50 100 mg/kg, p.o.) evoked significant increase values haemagglutination test potentiated delayed type reaction induced sheep red blood cells. It also significantly ameliorated myelosuppression cyclophosphamide treated showed an phagocytic index findings study indicate that possesses sufficient potential for augmenting activity cellular mediated mechanisms.
