摘要: Abstract 1. Three different adenosine-uptake systems were found in isolated membrane vesicles of Escherichia coli K-12 cells: the first system was strongly inhibited by adenonine nucleosides, pyrimidine nucleosides and antibiotic showdomycin but weakly guanine inosine; second adenine inosine showdomycin; third adenine. In a showdomycin-resistant mutant (Shm r -001), no longer detectable to remain active. 2. The adenosine uptake these stimulated artificial electron-donor system, ascorbate-phenazine methosulfate. reduced phenazine methosulfate-stimulated sodium azide. 3. Caffeine markedly that system. 4. Showdomycin only slightly previously loaded presence caffeine. [ 14 C]-showdomycin from cells deoxycytidine guanosine. These results suggest is taken up cells.
