摘要: I have isolated a number of mutants from Escherichia coli K-12 which are highly resistant to showdomycin [2-(β-D-ribofuranosyl)maleimide]. These were very sensitive N-ethylmaleimide, has structure similar the aglycone moiety showdomycin. took up little 14C-labeled and showed altered ability take various labeled nucleosides. However, their cytosine arabinoside-3H remained essentially same as that parent strain.
