摘要: Abstract It is becoming increasingly important to identify patients at risk for hereditary colorectal cancer (CRC) given the opportunity impact medical management and reduce morbidity mortality among their family members once inherited CRC predisposition confirmed. Methods by which are identified evolving as genetic testing costs have plummeted, resulting in many more screening options. Opportunities challenges with newer approaches reviewed along benefits limitations of each approach. Regardless how methods evolve identifying risk, need patient education, history taking, appropriate counseling, enhancing sharing across will remain critical optimal care.
