摘要: The action of macrophage migration inhibitory factor in fetal calf serum (FCS-MIF) was inhibited by l-fucose and blood group substances bovine submaxillary mucin, both which contain l-fucose. FCS-MIF agglutinated human erythrocytes guinea pig peritoneal exudate macrophages. Agglutination these cell types N-acetyl-d-galactosamine. Human type O removed MIF from FCS. Supernatants antigen stimulated lymphocytes, containing MIF, macrophages could be N-acetyl-d-galactosamine; A stimulatory These observations suggest that have distinct membrane receptors for MSF monosaccharides.
