摘要: Toxocara spp. infection and the seroconversion rate in Amazon have been poorly investigated. This study analyzed individual household-level risk factors for presence of IgG antibodies to urban Amazonian children over a period 7 years evaluated rates 1-year follow-up. In < 59 months age, overall prevalence was 28.08% 2003 23.35% 2010. The 2010-2011 were 13.90% 6-59 age 12.30% 84-143 age. Multilevel logistic regression analysis identified child previous wheezing, current with hookworm as significant associated seropositivity 2003. 2010, helminthiasis, having dog seropositivity, whereas piped water inside household protective factor. Control programs mainly need target at-risk children, quality control, animal deworming strategies.
