摘要: Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) is a relative newcomer to the field of late-life dementia. Although diversity imaging methodologies now available for study dementia, these have been applied most often Alzheimer's disease (AD). Studies on DLB, although fewer, yielded fascinating and important insights into underlying pathophysiology this condition allowed clinical differentiation DLB from other dementias. Imaging research has had significant ramifications in terms raising profile helping define it as distinctive separate entity AD.
