摘要: We performed the modification of size and optical properties Ag nanoparticles (NPs) embedded in SiO2 by using 500 keV Xe ion irradiation. The results reveal that irradiation can eliminate small NPs promote growth large NPs, which significantly enhances surface plasmon resonance (SPR) absorption at 400 nm. Besides, modifies structures resulting a shoulder peak around 530 present work provides an available route to tailor modulate metal NPs.
