摘要: Direct analysis by mass spectrometry (imaging) has become increasingly deployed in preclinical and clinical research due to its rapid accurate readouts. However, when it comes biomarker discovery or histopathological diagnostics, more sensitive in-depth profiling from localized areas is required. We developed a comprehensive, fully automated online platform for high-resolution liquid extraction surface (HR-LESA) followed micro–liquid chromatography (LC) separation data-independent acquisition strategy untargeted low abundant analyte identification directly tissue sections. Applied sections of rat pituitary, the demonstrated improved spatial resolution, allowing sample as small 400 μm be studied, major advantage over conventional LESA.
