摘要: Osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) and subchondral bone cysts (SBCs) occur commonly at many different locations in equine limbs can lead to secondary osteoarthritis when left untreated. Depending on the location extent of lesion, arthroscopic surgical debridement may be an effective treatment for returning a horse athletic soundness. In cases, however, additional techniques improve healing response cartilage are needed so as preserve articular function. Methods improving repair (ie, restoration damaged cartilage)or regeneration reformation or recreation new cartilage) select cases OCD SBCs discussed.
