摘要: Serous cystic tumours of the pancreas are uncommon and usually classified as microcystic adenomas (MCA). As new types serous this organ have been reported we reviewed a series 14 lesions from macroscopic findings two groups were distinguished: ten revealed features MCA, while four clearly distinct MCA. Grossly, latter showed only few cysts which irregularly assembled in fibrous stroma. On cut surface, there was neither central stellate scar nor circumscribed tumour border, characterizing Microscopically, lined by cuboidal, non-mucin-producing cells. Immunocytochemical staining for cytokeratins 7, 8, 18 19 ductal phenotype. All non-MCA found head three them occurred men. There no recurrences or signs malignant transformation after resection (mean follow-up, 2.9 years). These results suggest that MCA may represent another variant category pancreas. We propose term oligocystic ill-demarcated adenoma (SOIA) these tumours. It is possible recently described macrocystic subtype cystadenoma SOIA variants same tumour.
