摘要: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect urea content (fuel) on reaction and characteristics Ni-Zn ferrite powders obtained by combustion synthesis. Several batches were prepared with different fuel contents, ranging from stoichiometric composition between 20 100% (excess), while desired molar proportion metal precursors kept constant. solutions heated a hot plate then transferred muffle furnace preheated 700°C, in which ignition took place. resulting characterized XRD, BET, SEM, sedimentation, aided rotation measured through an optic light. crystalline hematite (α-Fe2O3) phases present all compositions studied, appearance agglomerates varied soft hard increasing content. increased content, promoted longer flame time, influenced growth and/or formation agglomerates. After sintering at 1200°C/2 h using composition, only spinel structure ferrite, homogeneous microstructure, present.
