摘要: Using relatively high dilutions of anti-Leu 7 monoclonal antibody and a four-step peroxidase-antiperoxidase (PAP) reaction in paraffin-embedded tissues, we tested the affinity this to cells 47 human nerve sheath tumors 22 other which differential diagnosis with neoplasms is known arise. Of all studied 68%, including 80% schwannomas, contained 7-positive cells. All non-schwannian were entirely, negative. Specimens eight experimental malignant rat schwannomas also negative for antibody. Our findings suggest that promising marker may facilitate between Schwann cell non-schwann neoplasms.
