摘要: The application of thermoacidophiles for chalcopyrite (CuFeS2) bioleaching in hot, acidic, saline solution was investigated as a possible process route rapid Cu extraction. study comprised discussion protective mechanisms employed the survival and/or adaptation to osmotic stress, compilation chloride tolerances three genera applied and an experimental activities species system. data showed that oxidation rates iron(II) reduced inorganic sulfur compounds (tetrathionate) were presence levels well below concentrations seawater, limiting applicability these microorganisms CuFeS2 water.
