摘要: In principle, an optical network employing wavelength routing, reuse, and multihop packet switching is modularly scalable to very large configurations in both the hardware software sense. As such, it a viable architecture for new ATM-based telecommunications infrastructure The considered new, scalable, broadband based on (1) use of division multiplexing (WDM) routing; (2) translation signals from one another at access stations; (3) ATM switching.
