摘要: Abstract Stanniocalcin (STC) gene expression was examined in the corpuscles of Stannius sockeye salmon by situ hybridization. Generally, STC not expressed uniformly all cells Stannius. However, cases where uniform throughout a gland, it appeared that virtually contained mRNA, thereby supporting ‘one cell type’ hypothesis for Correlative immunocytochemistry on adjacent tissue sections indicated cellular levels stored hormone paralleled distribution mRNA. mRNA undetectable numerous other tissues, further notion is exclusively
