摘要: Abstract Purpose To assess the feasibility of reirradiation with image-based high-dose-rate brachytherapy in previously irradiated patients recurrent carcinoma uterine cervix. Methods and Materials Thirty diagnosed central recurrence were treated reirradiation. Martinez Universal Perineal Implant Template was used 24 Vienna applicator 6 patients. Median interval between two radiation schedules 25 months. delivered dose 42 Gy equivalent at 2 Gy (EQD2; interquartile range, 37–46 Gy EQD2). Results All 30 tolerated well. Complete response seen 23 (76%) With a median followup 25 months, 2-year local control, disease-free survival, overall survival 44%, 42%, 52%, respectively. Fifteen developed recurrences; Local control rate significantly higher doses >40 Gy EQD2 (52% vs. 34%; p  = 0.05). Disease-free better for longer (>25 months) radiotherapy schedules. Grade III proctitis cystitis 3 each, II small bowel toxicity Conclusions Reirradiation using is feasible acceptable outcomes isolated deemed unsuitable surgery. The outcome doses.
