摘要: PURPOSE OF REVIEW Re-irradiation historically has been associated with unacceptable toxicity and limited benefit. Recent advances in radiotherapy can change the treatment paradigm to provide new salvage treatments for recurrences of cervical endometrial cancer. RECENT FINDINGS Image-guided brachytherapy is an effective method salvaging central pelvic recurrence, although it resulted 20-25% severe late toxicity. Pelvic sidewall disease not accessible brachytherapy, so a combined modality approach radical surgery intraoperative alternative approach. Stereotactic body (SBRT) now provides option re-irradiation local control rates 50-80% low incidence complications. SUMMARY Initial outcomes using SBRT image-guided gynaecological cancer are encouraging. There good acceptable Further, large-scale studies required define optimal target doses OAR limits.
