摘要: Abstract Objectives To evaluate the use of intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) in preventing relapses patients with neuromyelitis optica (NMO) and its spectrum disorders (NMOSDs). Methods Six NMO/NMOSD who were treated IVIG induction dose followed by 2- to 3- monthly infusions retrospectively identified. Annualized relapse rates (ARR) Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) pre- post-IVIG recorded. Results Median number median ARR significantly reduced from 8.0 1.0 0.75 0.15 (p Conclusion may be used reduce frequency NMO/NMOSD.
