摘要: An antibody against pure rabbit lung converting enzyme (CE) showing cross-reaction with CE from other species was used for immunocytochemical studies in the kidney of rats. Using indirect labelling PAP-technique, specific immunostaining found endothelial layer all arteries and arterioles cortex some descending vasa recta. CE-positive reactions were also seen most glomeruli, reaction product being confined to only a few capillary loops connection glomerular stalk. A immunstained capillaries cortical labyrinth suspected belong first ramifications efferent arteriole. The bulk peritubula as well veins showed no obvious immunostaining. functional significance this localization pattern endothelium vessels is discussed respect actions systemic local, intrarenal reninangiotensin-system on functions.
