摘要: Publisher Summary Interferons (IFNs) are proteins or glycoproteins that able to exert antiviral activity through their effects on the intracellular events of viral cycle and were first defined in 1957. They belong family biological response modifiers constituents body's defense system. IFNs can be induced an organism by virus infection, a variety nonviral inducers, mitogens, antigens, tumor cells. As produced under such varied circumstances, exact role played these molecules connection with various disease states must deciphered. Recombinant DNA technology has also had enormous impact IFN research. The chapter discusses three classes (α, β, γ) explains methods production purification IFNs, interferon induction, control genetics biochemical properties structures human preparations used for clinical trials, system discussed.
