摘要: The ability of intracellular signaling networks to orchestrate a complex biological response such as cell motility requires that individual proteins must act integrators, responding multiple extracellular inputs and regulating pathway outputs. In this review, we highlight recent findings place focal adhesion kinase (FAK) in an important receptor-proximal position the regulation growth factor integrin-stimulated motility. Emphasis is placed on molecular mechanisms FAK activation, connections contact formation well turnover, potential function promoting invasion may be distinct from its role
