摘要: Abstract Objective Previous studies suggest that differences in molecular features of endometrial cancers between racial groups may contribute to the poorer survival Blacks. The objective this investigation was determine whether gene expression among is different Blacks and Whites. Methods Fresh frozen tumors from 25 Black patients were matched by stage, grade, histology cancer specimens White patients. Each case macrodissected produce possessing a minimum 75% cellularity. A subset 10 pairs also prepared using laser microdissection (LMD) 95% cells. Total RNA isolated each sample analyzed Affymetrix Human Genome U133 Plus 2.0 arrays. Data principal component analysis binary class comparison analyses. Results Unsupervised 50 failed identify global profiles unique or In Whites LMD macrodissection, unsupervised did not reveal profile associated with race either set, but associations identified relate preparation technique, stage. Conclusions Our microarray data revealed no few individual More comprehensive methods transcriptome could uncover RNAs underpin disparity outcome prevalence
