摘要: A population of Mus musculus subsp. (Czech II), recently isolated from the wild, lack endogenous mouse mammary tumor virus (MMTV) proviral genomes. Some these mice carry an infectious MMTV [designated II)] that is transmitted in milk and associated with development. This distinct laboratory strains present inbred mice. An II) genome was found within a 0.5-kilobase region cellular five 16 Czech II tumors. insertion at this site activates expression 2.4-kilobase species RNA previously silent gene. designated int-3 since it unrelated to int-1 int-2 loci. The locus does not appear correspond other proto-oncogenes but well conserved among mammalian species.
