摘要: In conclusion, to maximize the benefit of genomic era, molecular laboratory director will continue be essential in generation, analysis, and interpretation patient results, which now include data obtained through NGS approaches. That includes integrating this information as part complete care communicating interacting with professionals across disciplines. addition, must provide training education current future colleagues, within outside pathology genetics. Professionalism volunteerism professional organizations advocacy policy makers, health administrators, payers, public. It also efforts increase visibility profession our colleagues from other medical disciplines public at large. Thus, role is multifaceted, but, above all, it ensure access quality testing, responsible implementation expanded test modalities such genome sequencing, thereof aid clinician management ultimately society by providing precision care.
