摘要: Following the recolonisation of southern Scandinavia by wolves, public has expressed high levels fear wolves. In response, we have reviewed existing data on wolf attacks humans from Fennoscandia during last 300 years. We were able to find records people being killed wolves all three countries: one Norway, 16 Sweden, and 77 Finland. All cases prior 1882. The vast majority victims children under age 12. predatory in nature, as opposed those done rabid incidents tended cluster space time indicating that only certain developed habit killing people. Implications for present day management are discussed.
