摘要: Oral cancer is the sixth most common human cancer, with a high morbidity rate and an overall 5-year survival of less than 50%. It often not diagnosed until it has reached advanced stage. Therefore, early diagnostic stratification strategy great importance for oral cancer. In current study, urine samples patients squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC, n = 37), leukoplakia (OLK, 32) healthy subjects (n 34) were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC–MS). Using multivariate statistical analysis, urinary metabolite profiles OSCC, OLK control can be clearly discriminated panel differentially expressed metabolites was obtained. Metabolites, valine 6-hydroxynicotic acid, in combination yielded accuracy 98.9%, sensitivity 94.4%, specificity 91.4%, positive predictive value 91.9% distinguishing OSCC from controls. The three differential metabolites, cysteine, tyrosine, able to discriminate between 92.7%, 85.0%, 89.7%, 91.9%. This study demonstrated that markers derived this profiling approach may hold promise as tool stage its differentiation other conditions.
