摘要: Abstract A relatively simple and rapid method has been developed which allows quantitation of the rate production single-strand scissions in polydisperse populations DNA molecules. This method, is based on determination progressive loss renaturability (zippering-up) cross-linked DNA, was applied as a quantitative assay strand breakage by ionizing radiation DNase I. Radiosensitivity to proportional molecular size but independent average base composition or substitution bromouracil for thymine. The protective effects cysteine cysteamine, self-protection at higher concentrations were demonstrated.
