摘要: Acute lung injury (ALI) and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) are major health problems worldwide. Critical care physicians have long recognized that there patients who progress poorly despite therapy while others do unexpectedly better than it might be predicted. It is now well accepted these responses related to variations in the genome. However, little known about genes responsible for susceptibility outcome ALI ARDS. The search genetic variants determining predicting still a developing field. identification of important associations between genotype clinical outcomes will an impact on development more efficient genotype- or phenotype-guided therapies with ALI/ARDS. Using this point view, we discuss some advances association studies relation occurrence severity In addition, also strategic medical implications using testing detect predict prognosis
