摘要: PURPOSE OF REVIEW Respiratory failure remains the most common complication in perioperative period after lung transplantation. Consequently it is important to develop an approach diagnosis and treatment of respiratory this population. This review highlights advances made understanding transplant patients early postoperative phase. Owing its relative importance, ischaemia-reperfusion injury are highlighted. RECENT FINDINGS The causes complications seen transplantation time dependent, with ischaemia-reperfusion, infection, technical problems acute rejection being phase, obliterative bronchiolitis, rejection, infections secondary bacteria, fungi, viruses becoming more prevalent 3 months. preservation care may be overshadowed by increase complexity recipients use marginal organs. An improved mechanistic has translated into potential therapeutic targets. development prospective clinical trials, however, hampered a relatively small sample significant degree heterogeneity SUMMARY Many have been injury. long-term implications complication, interventions that reduce risk developing need evaluated trials.
