摘要: Purpose To investigate ultrasound biomicroscopic findings in human eyes with shallow anterior chamber and risk of angle-closure glaucoma after the prone provocation test. Methods A total 32 consecutive patients (64 eyes) bilateral who were at for primary underwent test a lit room. Before immediately measurement intraocular pressure this test, high-frequency biomicroscopy was performed horizontal vertical directions, angle views recorded 3-, 6-, 9-, 12-o'clock positions. Results Ten six exhibited an increase 8 mm Hg or more, positive response, remainder showing negative response to In profile iris showed markedly convex shape large space behind posterior iris. However, each eye remained open, even during high level caused by provocation. Conclusions The present results suggest that no closure occurs initial Such associated because relative pupillary block. time lag observed between block occurrence closure.
