Anti-inflammatory activity of Adenanthera pavonina L., Fabaceae, in experimental animals

摘要: Adenanthera pavonina L, Fabaceae, conhecida na regiao de Bengala por "rakta kombol", e uma planta medicinal endemica do sul da China India amplamente difundida Malasia, Africa Ocidental Oriental, bem como maioria das ilhas ambas as regioes Pacifico Caribe. Esta tem sido utilizada medicina tradicional para o tratamento asma, febre, diarreia, gota, inflamacoes, reumatismo tumor, ulceras, tonico. Cascas secas moidas A. foi submetida a extracao sucessiva com eter petroleo (PE), diclorometano (DCM), acetato etila (AcOEt) metanol (MeOH), os extratos foram avaliados in vivo atividade anti-inflamatoria induzida carragenina tendo ensaio modelo inflamacao edema pata em ratos.. Os administrados via oral doses 200 400 mg/kg peso corporal, observadas efeitos anti-inflamatorios maneira dose-dependente, estatisticamente significativos (p<0,001). O extrato metanolico (400 mg/kg) apresentou 37,10% (p<0,01) inibicao primeira hora estudo e, DCM 33,11% (p<0,001) terceira estudo, que comparavel ao resultado substância referencia diclofenato sodio. resultados deste confirmaram alguns dos usos tradicionais desta medicinal.
