Impurity and eccentricity effects on the nonlinear optical rectification in a quantum ring under lateral electric fields

摘要: Within the framework of effective-mass approximation, effect different static perturbations—lateral electric field, impurity donor, and eccentricity distortion—on nonlinear optical rectification in a GaAs disc-shaped quantum ring has been investigated. For concentric ring, influence lateral field off-center impurities on intraband transitions at two values temperature was studied detail. We found that response strongly depends incident light polarization donor position within structure. Compared with profile 4 K, spectra exhibit 77 K additional peaks reduced magnitude low-frequency range.
