摘要: An accurate and direct measurement of the energy distribution a low repetition rate terahertz electromagnetic pulse is challenging because lack sensitive detectors in this spectral range. In paper, we show how total density can be determined by directly measuring absolute electric field amplitude beam using electro-optic detection. This method has potential use as routine pulses that could applied to evaluating future high power sources, imaging, spatially temporarily resolved pump-probe experiments.
