Acute bone marrow necrosis caused by streptococcal infection.

摘要: An 8 year old boy with a furuncle on the dorsum of right foot, high fever, severe pain in knee joint, slight hepatosplenomegaly, leukopenia and thrombocytopenia was admitted working diagnosis acute leukemia. However, an abundance necrotic cells, together clusters streptococci, could be demonstrated bone marrow aspirate. After antibiotic therapy recovered completely.
