摘要: Abstract AD pathology is often seen in cortical biopsies of NPH patients. It remains unclear whether these findings are coincidental or causally related. In an aged animal model NPH, we quantify Aβ and pTau accumulation describe its temporal spatial distribution. One-year-old male Sprague–Dawley rats had hydrocephalus induced by cisternal kaolin injection. Immunohistochemistry (IMHC) for AβPP, Aβ40, Aβ42 (epitope pT231) ELISA pT231 were performed on controls after 2, 6 10 weeks hydrocephalus. Rats double-label fluorescence IMHC localization pT231. showed no change neuronal AβPP expression following appeared earliest CSF clearance pathways, p
