摘要: Abstract Many regions with good wind resources and aggressive renewable energy portfolio targets have achieved installed turbine capacity that is difficult for electricity system operators to manage. The purpose of this paper compare the measured output farms at various locations throughout Nova Scotia, looking specifically factors either facilitate or hamper integration additional into existing grid system. Special emphasis placed on effects aggregating are separated by distance geography, consequently experience different conditions times. results presented using metrics significance operators, new accessible, readily interpretable, actionable in locating farms. principle findings over a 540 km majority potential correlation 10-min ramp-rate reductions achieved; up 30% improvement effective load carrying available worst hours strategic farm siting; metric shows several time shift between span. This timeshift equal longer length than most utilities' peak demand periods;
