摘要: Dysregulation of receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) signaling is a major contributor to cancer, including glioma (Pawson and Hunter 1994). In glioma, epidermal growth factor (EGFR) frequently amplified at the genomic level mutated, this associated with poorer survival (Libermann et al., 1985; Wong 1987; Ekstrand 1992; Hurtt Jaros Schlegel Here we review what known about abnormal EGFR in focusing on recent advances made proteomics approaches, discuss two new areas just being investigated: localization cellular compartments point mutations its extracellular domain.
