摘要: Abstract The strands of the four bacteriophage N4 DNA fragments derived by HhaI endonuclease digestion have been separated on agarose gels, and eight obtained related to two complementary DNA. We used HpaI restriction (Zivin et al., 1980) single-stranded HhaI-digested as probes determine temporal appearance, localization polarity transcripts. These experiments allowed us localize genome previously characterized classes (early middle RNAs) rifampicin-resistant RNAs (Vander Laan 1977) detect a new class RNAs, which are synthesized late in infection. synthesis is rifampicin sensitive and, we show this paper, requires activity Escherichia coli RNA polymerase.
