摘要: Chapter 8 illustrated the power of wrapping concept as a guidance to engineer specificity and enhance safety in kinase inhibitor. Yet, only universal selectivity filter, applicable entire human kinome – even kinases with unreported structure would be truly useful for drug designer. This chapter thematically belongs bioinformatics realm addresses this issue at broadest possible level. The surveyed findings reveal that targeting polar dehydration patterns defined by protein dehydrons heralds new generation drugs enable tighter control specificity. universality filter field therapeutic interference cell signaling is thus established.
